Kate Lane Bellamy
Teacher

Mrs. Bellamy received a degree in youth ministry with a minor in music from Charleston Southern University where she graduated summa cum laude. Her love for children, the arts, and theatre production help her to creatively make science and history come alive for the children. Homeschooled from 5th to 12th grade, and raised under the Growing Kids principles, Mrs. Bellamy's upbringing not only adds wisdom and insight into the homeschool aspect of our community school, but also makes her gifted in applying bilbilcal standards in the classroom as well as incorporating the biblical worldview in to all subjects.

 Jane McGreevy
Teacher

Mrs. McGreevy received a BA in Psychology from Emory University and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. She taught 3rd grade in Atlanta for 5 years (serving as Chair for two years) before taking on the homeschooling of her own four children. Over the past 20 years, she has selected and taught homeschool curriculum for  grades 1-8 in reading, spelling, writing, literature, history, mathematics, science and religion. With her combined experience as a professional teacher and homeschooling GFI mom, she brings a wealth of knowledge to LCCS and its families.

Abigail Timmons
Teacher

Amanda Dodd
Teacher

Mrs. Dodd received a degree in middle school mathematics and science from the University of Kentucky where she graduated summa cum laude.  She has always had a passion to make school, especially math, fun and exciting for all students.  She previously taught 6th and 7th grade mathematics for two years in a public middle school in Kentucky before moving to Charleston this past summer.  Although she loved being in the public school, she had a strong desire to share biblical training with students starting at such a young age while teaching mathematics.  She wanted to pour into the lives of children spiritually just as much as she wanted to academically.  Her enthusiasm for teaching and heart for children has made her a great addition to LCCS this year.
