Recess Guidelines:
-
Walk in a quiet self-controlled line to recess destination
-
Anyone talking or not showing self-control loses the amount of minutes of play time equal to his age
-
Regularly games should be modified to strengthen the relationship between the grade levels (ex. an older child paired with a younger child to teach them the needed skill in the game – then the game is played possibly against the teacher so that the group has a chance to be successful together)
-
Gracious no matter who they’re paired with
-
Take the time to correct situations that you see as if your own child were involved.
-
Are the kids being other oriented?
-
Are they thinking of their responsibility to guard the hearts of their peers, themselves, and the younger students?
-
Are they speaking to you (the adult) with a question and a please?
-
No shooting or killing games
-
The kids can all be against a bad guy, but they are not allowed to be the bad guy
Lunch Tips:
-
Remain in seats unless throwing away trash
-
Gracious to whomever they end up sitting beside
-
The conversation should guard the hearts of all present
-
Kind words
