Ballet 1

Ages: 5 & 6 (Students must be 5 years old by September 1st to be in this class.

Supplies: 

Girls will need to wear pink ballet tights, a pink or black leotard, a pink or black ballet skirt (pull-on elastic is best), and pink ballet shoes. Boys will need to wear a white t-shirt tucked into black shorts, white socks, and black ballet shoes. Please email the instructor if you have questions about purchasing attire.  

Course Description: 

This class will be covering classical ballet positions, theory, technique in the Vaganova Method of Ballet. Each class will learn ballet choreography to contemporary worship music and explore creative movement. The focus will be on worshipping God through the art of ballet. There will be a Spring Ballet Performance at the end of the school year. The material fee covers the cost of the performance costumes.

*Please note that students who will turn 7 years old by September 1st should register for the Ballet 2 class.
