Students will learn introduction etiquette, memory and delivery techniques as they write and present five speeches: self-introductory, narrative, expository, persuasive, and impromptu using Introduction to Public Speaking. Students evaluate recorded speeches in preparation for self-evaluation. This course empowers students to become competent and confident public speakers. In addition, they will memorize poetry to help with vocabulary building and presentation.
