COOKING JUNIOR: 1ST GRADE- 4TH GRADE

• This class is designed to introduce children to cooking.

• This will be accomplished through hands-on/team projects where students learn to identify fruits and vegetables, learn the science of baking, and how God created food to fuel our bodies. We will also learn proper food-handling and hygiene and how to use utensils/appliances properly. During each class, your child will create a tasty treat to share with their classmates.

• This class will be using a variety of foods. Ingredients may contain dairy, wheat/gluten, nuts etc and due to the nature of the class (time constraints) we are not able to accommodate a secondary lesson without those ingredients.

*Materials fees are billed once a year for $110. Materials include not only the food for the class but also a binder, apron, and class handouts.
