Every child needs an introduction to music. Musical education brings alive parts of the brain that no other education can. Taught by Amy King, this music in motion experience is a beginner music course emphasizing having fun with music. Students will learn about music, rhythm, and musical patterns. Most songs will have a lot of motions and hand movements. Children will learn patterns with rhythm sticks. Students will be encouraged to move with the music and be taught how to sit still while singing. Classical music will be introduced in a creative way. This is a very active class. We march and jump and play rhythm sticks. All children must be completely potty trained to attend Preschool classes. All children must be able to follow the teacher’s instructions and not be a distraction in class.
