In piano lessons, the students will learn piano fundamentals through music theory using the Faber method books. They will learn to read music through basic steps such as note names, finger and hand positions, and will learn to play songs for Christmas and Spring recitals. The Faber method books are very colorful and fun for kids. Mrs. Dickard has played piano from the age of 5, and took lessons until college graduation. She has a vocal music performance Bachelor of Arts degree from Charleston Southern University.
