Statement of Faith

We believe that...

..the Bible is the inspired Word of God, complete and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16)

..God is one (Mark 12:29), yet exists in three Persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), who are be equally loved, honored, and surrendered to (Matthew 28:19).

..each and every person is a sinner who falls short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

..there is nothing a person can do on their own to earn eternal life. (Matthew 5:48)

..Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. Jesus is fully God and fully man. Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead.  (1 Cor. 15:1-8)

..the forgiveness of our sins and the promise of eternal life is available to those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  (John 3:16)

..those trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized. (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)

..Jesus Christ will one day return to Earth and reign forever. (1 Thes. 4:3-18)

..God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Gen.1:27)

..marriage is between one man and one woman and is for life.  (Genesis 2:24)

..the church is the body of Christ on Earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and exists to save the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16) 

..every human has intrinsic dignity and hence the right to life from the moment of conception to natural death (Psalm 139:13-16; Exodus 20:13)
